Scholarship Criteria
- Applicants must be a 2026 graduating high school senior.
- Applicants must be scheduled to graduate during the spring semester of their senior year.
- Applicants must plan to enroll in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university, or a technical or trade school following graduation.
- Applicants must have been active members of God’s Grace Community Church.
- Application typed or written legibly.
- Applicant essays must be typed. Students must complete both prompts.
- In a multi-paragraph essay, discuss how participating in programs at God’s Grace Community Church has contributed to your personal development. Reflect on the lessons you’ve learned, the challenges you’ve faced, and the ways your involvement has influenced your outlook on life and your goals for the future. Please attach your typed essay to your completed application.
- Write a multi-paragraph essay sharing your personal and career goals. Describe what inspires you, what you hope to accomplish in the future, and how this scholarship will help you reach those goals. Please attach your typed essay to your completed application.
- Applicants must provide a letter of reference from their high school teacher or administrator.
- Applicants must participate in an interview as part of the scholarship application process.
- Application and supporting materials must be submitted by the designated date
- Applicants and parents must attend the Scholarship Program informational meeting.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Graduates Day
• Graduates Day will be held the second Sunday of June.
• All Graduates must be in their cap and gown on that Sunday.
Scholarship Award
- Scholarship is an award that is divided into the first two (2) semesters.
- A letter of acceptance from the college of the applicant’s choice and proof of enrollment in the form of a class schedule is required before award disbursement.
